My name is Jose Hernandez and I serve as Pour into Houston’s Vice President. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to become part of an outstanding team of individuals who give back to the local community in a huge way.
I graduated from the University of Houston in 2012 while working as a computer operator for Schlumberger, after graduating I became a System Analyst and then moved on to become a Data Analyst, and am now an independent contractor.
I was raised in the small town of Brazoria, TX where I was taught to be respectful, courteous, and to always help others in need. At an early age I was given a mentor from the local high school PALS class and because of that I too joined the PALS class in high school and mentored 2 other kids. PALS gave me a way to give back to kids who like me at an early age needed a friend. I went on from there to help at local church food drives and to help friends who had fundraisers for family members, friends, and the community. With my love for Houston, the community, and its people I will thrive to help the team with its continued success of Pour into Houston.
In my everyday life I enjoy going bank and deep-sea fishing and one day hope to go to Florida to catch a Goliath Grouper. Throughout the year I cook bar-b-q and invite family and friends to come eat and spend time together. I love spending time with friends going to sporting events and hanging out on the weekends. I enjoy casual gaming with online friends and listening to music and also enjoy going to Camp Gladiator workouts and meeting new people who go to workout as well.
